Data from the client can be sent by Secure File Transfer Protocol (FTP) or over a Virtual Private Network (VPN). Additional encryption can be implemented for sending data. Email Connection advises the client on the security options available.

Email Connection has an aggressive Anti-spam policy, which ensures that our clients have permission from their clients to send e-mail to them. Email Connection's servers utilise the most up-to-date anti-virus software ensuring data integrity. Email Connection generates all emails on a secure UNIX environment that protects the system from viruses.

Email Connection dynamically generates all documents from code and raw data effectively eliminating the risk of viruses. In addition all e-mails are virus checked prior to being sent out.

Email Connection ensures that all data supplied by its clients is strictly protected and not accessible to any third parties. The ownership of all e-mail addresses resides with the client and under no circumstances can any other party access them.

Company Confidentiality - Email Connection enters into a stringent non-disclosure agreement with its clients. Email Connection's security team will meet with the client's security team to detail all processes and security controls. Email Connection accommodates any specific requirements that the client may have.

Our infrastructure includes extensive bandwidth on the South African Internet backbone, customised software and robust hardware technology. This has been specifically created and optimised to process, convert and send high volumes of documents in electronic format. Redundancy is ensured through a replication of the necessary components of Email Connection's system at other sites. RAID technology in addition to UPS and sophisticated monitory systems are used to ensure uptime. The data transfer set-up between Email Connection and its clients can include a dedicated line for redundancy purposes to Email Connection's central control premises.
